By Plane
Le Freney D'Oisans is accessible from a number of airports serving the Alps:

Turin - 2h30 (this involves crossing the border via the Italian Alps and driving over the Col du Lautaret, which can be subject to closure in bad weather.)

By Car
The ferry or Eurotunnel are approximately 8 and a half hours drive (580 miles) from Le Freney, with stops only for petrol.

A more relaxing option is to make an overnight stop on the journey, with the wine regions of Champagne and Burgundy being situated on the way. Reims, Epernay, Troyes, Dijon and Beaune all make for a lovely overnight stay.
By train
If you are travelling from the UK, you can take the Eurostar to Paris or Lille and change for the TGV to Lyon (airport or Part Dieu) or Grenoble. This gives the option of a stay in Paris on the way.

From the airport, you can hire a car or take a bus to Le Freney.
